Shooting Prompts Lockdown of Minnesota Mall
Blaine, MN (KROC-AM News)- A shooting sent a Minnesota mall into a lockdown over the weekend.

Authorities in the Twin Cities responded to reports of shots being fired around 3:30 Sunday afternoon. The gunfire was reported outside of the mall entrances.
Officials say responding law enforcement arrived at the scene moments after the shooting reports.
Shooting Leads to Lockdown at Northtown Mall in Blaine, MN
The shooting occurred in the parking lot of the Northtown Mall in Blaine. The mall was locked down and cleared upon law enforcement arrival, the Blaine Police Department says.
Officials said Sunday afternoon the threat against mall employees, shoppers and residents in the area had subsided. No injuries were reported and one person was arrested, authorities say.
Blaine Police say the person arrested was found with a firearm and jailed on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm.
A review of footage indicates the suspect was involved in two seperate groups who got into an altercation prior to the gunfire, a news release says.
Investigators are reviewing security camera footage. Police say the shooting remains under investigation.
