Minnesota Vikings Jefferson to be Featured in Netflix Limited Series

One of the better Netflix limited series that I took the time to watch last year was "Quarterback".  They focused on three different Quarterbacks, and what they go through before and during the game.  They were mic'd up during the games, and it was very interesting to see and hear what was happening during some of those games.

The three quarterbacks that were featured were former Viking Kirk Cousins, Chiefs Patrick Mahomes, and former Falcons QB Marcus Mariota.  We saw during the series that Mariota was released from the Falcons.

This year this limited series will focus on wide recievers and just called "Receiver".

This time there will be 4 receivers featured. Minnesota Vikings Justin Jefferson, Raiders Davante Adams, Lions Amon-Ra St. Brown, 49ers Deebo Samuel and tight end George Kittle.

The series chronicles the players on and off the field through the 2023-24 season and will premiere this summer, Netflix announced Tuesday.

Like “Quarterback,” which was released in July 2023 and followed Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota, “Receiver” is produced by NFL Films, Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions and Mahomes’ 2PM Productions. It will feature eight, 45-minute episodes.

These sports shows are not something that I would normally take the time to watch.  But Quarterback took the viewer through the exercises, prep, family and personal life and just an inside experience with each QB.  I'm sure that will be the same for this season's installment "Receiver".And it is quite interesting. So, make plans to add this to your Netflix queue fo this coming Summer.
