The question that I get a lot when people find out that I lived in Green Bay for 4 years is "Did you become a Packers fan?"  Answer is "Absolutely not".  In fact, I thought it was a lot of fun being a Vikings fan while living in Green Bay.  And there were a couple of other people that I worked with that were also from Minnesota and they felt the same way.  It was especially satisfying when the Vikings would win a game in GB over the Packers.  No Pack No!

BUT - if you are heading to the game this weekend vs the Packers, and you will be spending the night, you have to try this breakfast restaurant called "The Pancake Place".  To sum it up in one word... maybe two.  Delicious, and the other word being Filling.

The Pancake Place is located on Military Avenue.  If you are taking 29 out of Green Bay heading back to Minnesota, this is (kind of) on your way.  But, get there early, or you will be waiting in a line for a table.  They do move the line fairly quickly, but the restaurant is not that big, and very popular.

The pancakes are HUGE!  Keep that in mind when you order.  They do have an option of 3 pancakes.  I was thinking it would be like ordering at Perkins or something.  NOPE!  One pancake will cover the entire plate, and they are thick and delicious!  I had to cut a small area out of the pancake so I could put some syrup there.  Yummy!

You can check out some of the menu items on their website.  They do have more than just pancakes....and everything is good!

So, for national pancake day, and if you are heading out to GB for the Vikings/Packers game, make a stop at the Pancake Place.  You will not be disappointed.
