Minnesota is the Most Obsessed State with Fantasy Football

This actually did make me laugh out loud.  The fact that Minnesota is the most Fantasy Football obsessed state is really not surprising at all.  Being that we are in Minnesota, and have been to the big game four times and never pulled out a win makes every Vikings football fan want to live in lala land or a fantasy world.

THERE MAY BE A REASON MINNESOTA IS OBSESSED WITH A FANTASY

We have gone for years saying "this is the year" and every year it is a disappointment.  However, ti doesn't stop us for still having hope each time a new season begins.  The anticipation is actually kind of fun.  And we have made it ALMOST there several years, and then blow it right before the big game.  It messes with your heart.

So, live in the fantasy world.  It's more fun, you control your own game and players and hope for the best.  Little bit of this, little bit of that, and voila, you have a team that is a decent competitor.  At least in theory.  And usually there is some cash involved in some way with that, but also, more than that are the bragging rights.  Everyone loves bragging rights.  But then the next season rolls around and you then have to prove yourself.  Or something.

IF YOUR TEAM (VIKINGS) ISN'T DOING WELL - MAKE A FANTASY SHIFT

When the actual team (Vikings in this case) isn't doing well, you can always shift that over to the Fantasy team and run with that.  More than likely that is going to be much more successful than that actual team.  You build it, and hopefully they will come.  The wins, that is.

Besides being more successful than the actual team, it can also be a great passtime throughout the week.  You're the coach, and you make the decisions.  It's fun. So, let the Fantasy Football season begin!
