Disappointed! Why Is Minnesota Not Included in this New Delta Perk?
One of the things that I used to love about flying was the finding out what kind of a meal would be offered on a flight. Take into consideration that I was a kid, and kids look forward to odd things sometimes.

Now, when you fly, you get to pick from whatever pre-packaged snack pack is offered for an extra cost. Not nearly as fun. But that's where we are.
If you sit in first class, I've only had that luxury a couple of times, but it is a nice experience. They give you a hot towel, that to be honest I really have no idea what to do with, they give you a meal, one that actually needs some silverware, and some drinks too. Yes, they give you drinks in coach, but you have to pay for the alcoholic ones. Not in first class! But honeslty, I really don't partake in that too often. Alcohol and a flight don't mix well with me.
Anyway, there is a new perk for people who fly first class through Delta. BUT, even though Minnesota is a Delta hub, that perk will not be available. At least not yet.
I'd like a yummy burger on a flight. I get that I usually fly economy, but on the off chance that I get a deal and move to first class, having the option to enjoy a delicious burger would be a great perk, right?
This program actually launched in December, and has been a huge it. I'm sure it has been. So they have expanded and hopefully that expansion will continue to include more areas other than the ones mentioned above. Oh, and how about offering it to economy too? I know that we, who sit in that area, will have to pay more. Whatever. But it would be nice to have that option.
It's not just a burger, either. Check out what else you get with this deal:
YUM!!! But, honestly, it would be fine just to be offered the burger... and maybe some chips or something.
Hopefully that is in the future, and not just for First Class passengers, either.
