The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has classified the recall as Class I, the agency's most serious designation. That means there is a reasonable probability that consuming the product could cause serious health problems or even death. Here's what you need to know.

THE RECALL
The recall involves 913 cases of Alfredo sauce produced by The Coffee Connexion, Inc. of Tennessee, located at 216 E Main St, Lebanon, TN 37087-2826. The company voluntarily recalled the product after concerns that a dry milk powder ingredient may have been contaminated with Salmonella.
While no illnesses have been publicly reported in Minnesota, the state is included among those where the affected product was distributed.
WHAT MINNESOTA CONSUMERS SHOULD DO
If you recently purchased Alfredo sauce, now is a good time to check the label against the information below.
POSSIBLE CONTAMINATED PRODUCTS
The recalled product comes in 3-pound, 7-ounce packages and includes the following batch numbers and Best By dates:
• Batch 046188 through 046193, Best By January 12, 2028
• Batch 047290 through 047296, Best By February 16, 2028
• Batch 048029 through 048034, Best By March 9, 2028
• Batch 049089 through 049094, Best By April 20, 2028
If you have one of the affected products, DO NOT EAT IT. The FDA recommends throwing the product away or returning it to the place of purchase.

Salmonella is a bacterium that causes foodborne illness. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, it sickens an estimated 1.35 million Americans each year. The symptoms are severe.
SYMPTOMS OF SALMONELLA POISONING
