MISSING KITTY IS FOUND IN CAMBRIDGE

On March 3rd, 2024, we told you about Pixel, an older cat that had just found his new forever home,  jumped from a Cambridge apartment balcony for a little kitty-cat adventuring on February 23rd, 2024, and couldn't find his way back home.

MISTER PIXEL SIGHTINGS

There were Mister Pixel sightings.  We had reported that he was last seen at Birch Street North, Cambridge, between Highway 95 and 2nd Avenue NW.  Mister Pixel is a gray tabby, with black stripes and a white nose, white mouth, white belly, and white paws.  He has grayish-green eyes and a black spot on each side of his nose. He's got pink toes and black paw pads.

The family that had him said he walked up to the backdoor where their daughter was, and started to meow. He was super friendly. Mister Pixel lived with that family until they saw one of the flyers up in one of the shops in Cambridge. Then they called Alyshea and sent the photo. He was gone for 32 almost 33 days.

THE STORY OF FINDING MISTER PIXEL

Alyshea Nelson, who owned Mister Pixel for 13 years, and had to find a new home for him as her son was severely allergic, led the charge to find Mister Pixel. This is what she told me.

"I received a call on Monday night from a woman asking if I had put out flyers for a Maine Coon cat...and I had stated I had put out a flyer for my domestic short hair cat that has a bigger frame to him and asked if she could send a picture of him.

I was thinking that because she said it was a Maine coon that she was going to send a picture of a large fluffy cat.

We hung up so she could send me the picture, and once I got it. I knew it was him!

I called her back immediately and told her, yes, that was our cat!

In the picture, he had a bell collar on and she stated that her daughter thought he was looking a little plain and wanted to 'Glam him up'.

Taylor, (who owns Mister Pixel now and lives in Cambridge) grabbed the cat carrier and met her at her house to bring him home.

He was literally less than 3000 feet from where he went missing."

FRIENDLY KITTY

Mister Pixel was gone for 32 (almost 33 days) and is finally home. He took a nap right when he got home. Taylor and Alyshea want to thank this family for sending the photo, and to everyone in the Cambridge area that was on the lookout for this sweet boy.

So Long! Minnesota's Ugliest Car Just Got Drove Off To Michigan

Alex Wayne recently bought a mash-up of a Minnesota vehicle. It's a Mini Cooper frame with a Chevy Express van skeleton on top. This vehicle definitely turns some heads as it goes by, but it was supposed to do that.
