The number of UFO sightings in the Badger State last year was up from the number of reports in 2023.

In data collected by the self-reporting National UFO Reporting Center website, a total of 50 sightings were recorded in Wisconsin in 2024. While a few of these sightings were later explained to be things like drones or satellites, a number of last year's reports remain unexplained.

Some are simply unexplainable sightings in the sky, but there are even stories where people had sensations and even a potential abduction was included in the 2024 reports for Wisconsin.

The number of Wisconsin UFO sightings in 2024 was up slightly from 2023, with 3 more sightings last year than the year prior.

While there were reports across the state, the far northern portions of Wisconsin saw less reports than elsewhere in the Badger State in 2024.

The busiest month of the year for sightings was December, followed by November, February, and March. April and June stand out as the only two months of the year where only one report was filed for the entire month.
