One Minnesota sports team is seeing a significant rise in attention, so much so that they have become one of the top trending teams in the league.

Ticket seller StubHub just released its WNBA Season Preview and thanks to the popularity and star power of Caitlin Clark, the WNBA is seeing a dramatic rise in demand for tickets compared to previous seasons.

How Much Demand is There for WNBA Tickets?

The WNBA season gets underway on May 14th, and according to StubHub, the demand for tickets is up a whopping 93% compared to last season, with Clark's new team, the Indiana Fever seeing the most dramatic increase in ticket sales, their ticket sales have increased 13x.

The Minnesota Lynx are also benefitting from the rise in popularity of the WNBA, according to StubHub, the team is the third most trending team in the league, this ranking is based on ticket sales for the 2024 season versus the 2023 season.

All the top 10 best-selling games for the upcoming season, except one, are Indiana Fever road games, Clark is turning out to be quite the draw for fans in cities all across America. Clark and the Fever will be in Minnesota playing the Lynx on July 14th and August 24th.

"As we head into this season, Caitlin Clark's impact is electrifying, sparking an unprecedented 15x increase in searches for the Indiana Fever after her WNBA draft announcement," said Adam Budelli, spokesperson for StubHub.
