What To Expect At Lake Superior Zoo’s ‘Larger Than Life’ Zoo Lights 2022
Duluth is no stranger to making the city a magical winter wonderland. From Bentleyville, to Glensheen, the Lake Superior Zoo, and more.
The Lake Superior Zoo has brought back its 'Larger Than Life' Zoo Light Display for another year of Holiday fun. I personally think it's a wonderful addition to the Zoo. They go all out for 'Boo at the Zoo' for the Halloween season, so why night go all out for the holidays as well?
I took the family for a little walkthrough over the weekend and everyone was a fan of it. The kids did say it was weird walking through the zoo at night and not seeing all the animals, but they absolutely loved the giant inflatable animals and the lights.
Tickets are $5 a person and can be purchased in person at the Zoo's gift shop or online here. Not only will witness the giant lights in person, but you can also expect:
- Free s'mores
- Visits from Santa
- Appearance from the Grinch (on select dates)
- Live Holiday music (on select dates)
- Christmas Carolers (caroler schedule to still be announced)
You can also purchase hot chocolate and treats at the Safari Café. The display is also only on select dates from 5 pm - 8 pm:
- December 2nd - 4th
- December 9th - 11th
- December 16th - 18th
- December 23rd, 30th, & the 31st
