
How To Watch Rescue Efforts Of Stuck Ship On Lake Superior Near Duluth
By now, you may have heard there is a ship stuck in the ice just outside of the Duluth Harbor.
The Lee A. Tregurtha departed earlier in the day on Friday from under the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge out onto Lake Superior. Not too far out from the Duluth pier, the ship became stuck in a bank of slushy snow and ice on the lake.
The 826-foot ship had departed empty late Friday morning, and has been stuck ever since.
The US Coast Guard got notice that the Lee A. Tregurtha was stuck at 12:40 pm on Friday afternoon. In case you're curious, there have been no reported injuries. The ship is just immobilized by the ice on Lake Superior.

A second live video stream below offers a closer-up look via the Lighthouse Cam. The thumbnail might not look like it is the right feed, but if you click play, you'll see the live feed.
Here's a third camera angle, the Hillside Cam, which offers a different perspective. It shows the situation from more of a profile or side perspective, instead of from the back of the action.
