Believe it or not, fair season is here! The South St. Louis County Fair in Proctor is set to kick off in early July, marking the first of two county fairs in Minnesota's largest county. Why wouldn't Minnesota's largest county get two county fairs, right?

The South St. Louis County Fair, which is within easy access to people in the Duluth area is July 6-9, 2023 at the fairgrounds in Proctor. It is conveniently scheduled about a month away from the St. Louis County Fair on the Iron Range, which is August 2-6, 2023.

As for the first of St. Louis County Fairs, the lineup of events and activities in Proctor has something for everyone!

Some of the events and activities to look forward to all four days of the fair include radio-controlled car racing, free cornhole games, 4-H events, carnival rides, food & drinks, farm animals on display, and vendors.

The Balloon Lady will be on-site Thursday-Saturday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and Knocker Ball and 18-foot darts will be available to play from noon to 8:00 pm Thursday-Saturday as well. The carnival and petting zoo opens each day at noon as well.
