A Minnesota based company that makes organic frozen treats, just dropped some news that has fans licking their lips with excitement.

JonnyPops, a frozen pop company that was founded in a dorm room at St. Olaf college in 2012, has become one of the biggest players in the over $5 billion a year frozen novelty business. Their popsicles are known for their simple ingredients and their layering technology that allows them to offer some unique flavors.

What is Unique About Jonny Pops?

While at the Expo West trade show, JonnyPops announced some new flavors that are organic, vegan, peanut free, and don't include any of the "Big Nine" allergens, milk, eggs, nuts, fish, crustaceans, shellfish, wheat, soy and sesame. The pops are also free from artificial dyes and artificial flavors.

The four new flavors announced are:

  • Organic Cotton Candy Cloud - featuring 4 layers of cotton candy flavors.
  • Organic Blue Wave - 5 layers that blend blue raspberry, fruit punch, and lime flavors. They say this pop pushes "the boundaries of next-gen natural products, creating deep blue colors with no artificial dyes."
  • Organic Tropical Paradise Punch -This pop features multiple layers each with a different flavor, that includes strawberry, passion fruit and orange, pineapple, pear, peach mango, and tropical lime.
  • Organic Berry Burst - This pop combines strawberry, grape, raspberry, and cherry.
