If you have dreams of playing professional football, a championship-winning Minnesota team is looking for some new players!
The Duluth Harbor Monsters of The Arena League announced a tryout event as the team looks to get their roster ready for the 2025 football season.
The Harbor Monsters won the 2024 ArenaMania championship, becoming the Arena League's first champion in the league's inaugural season. As the league expands for the 2025 season, the team is looking for new talent to add to their roster.
The Arena League is a new indoor arena football league that launched in 2024 with four teams, expanding to a total of 6 teams for the 2025 season.
In a press statement, the team's general manager explains that many of the players who were part of the Duluth Harbor Monsters' championship-winning team came from tryout events just like this one.
When is the tryout? What do I need to know to participate?
The 2025 free agent tryout event for the Duluth Harbor Monsters will be happening on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the West St. Paul Dome, which is located at 1655 Livingston Avenue in West St Paul.

The event, being hosted in the Twin Cities, will come with a $75 registration tryout fee for interested athletes. Registration for the event can be done via the team's tryout page.
Once you're registered, participants just need to show up ready to compete for a spot on the roster.
What will tryouts consist of?
The team says they will use a series of combine-style skills tests like speed and agility drills and position-specific workouts.
Live scrimmages will also be held to allow coaches and staff to evaluate players in game-like situations.
The team will then use the assesments made during their tryout event to help build the roster for their 2025 season as they get ready to defend their title as league champions.
The Duluth Harbor Monsters season will start with a road preseason game on Saturday, May 24 against the Knoxville Bandits before they start their regular season with a pair of road games against the Iowa Woo and Kansas City Goats.
The home opener for the Harbor Monsters will be against one of the league's new teams, the Hot Springs Wiseguys. That game will be at 7 pm on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the DECC Arena in Duluth.
