Less than two years after opening their location in Downtown Duluth, the owners of a local coffee shop will be closing the doors of their Superior Street business. But, when one door closes, another one opens!

Dream Cloud Coffee Roasters has called the corner of Superior Street and 1st Avenue West home since they opened in the spring of 2022. Known for their hand-crafted, high-quality coffee and tea beverages, the owners have built a following of loyal customers who come in for some of their regular menu items or some of their featured drinks.

The owners have been teasing on their social media (and sharing with their loyal customers) that they would be closing up their Downtown Duluth location, heading for a new locale for their shop up the North Shore.

The owners have been working hard on developing their new location, sharing posts like this one back in August to highlight some of what awaits when they open their new location.

When is Dream Cloud Cofee Roasters closing their Duluth location?

The plan is for their last day at their Downtown Duluth location to be on Saturday, December 23, 2023.

Following this, they plan to move equipment and continue to prepare their new location for an opening date sometime this coming spring.

Remember the Mocha Moose on Scenic Highway 61 between Knife River and Two Harbors? They sadly closed permanently in August of 2022, sharing the news on Instagram about their closure on August 13, 2022.

That closure left an opportunity for the owners of Dream Cloud to make the location their new home as they look to grow and expand. The new location will offer them additional space as well as a new audience of people traveling the scenic highway on the North Shore once they open in 2024.
