Fans of the popular Japanese franchise, Dragon Ball, should mark their calendars for this event that is only making a few stops around North America.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Dragon Ball is launching a new series, 'Dragon Ball Daima', that features lots of input from its creator, Akira Toriyama, this fifth series in the franchise will feature a story, settings, and designs from Toriyama.

Fans of the franchise have been anticipating this release, Toriyama passed away in March, so this will be his final project with the Dragon Ball franchise.

To celebrate the new series and its 40th anniversary, Dragon Ball is hitting the road with the 'Dragon Ball DAIMA North America Tour', and it's making some stops across North America, the first stop will happen November 22nd through the 24th at Minnesota's Mall of America.

The stop will include interactive exhibits, character meet and greets, Dragon Ball merchandise, giveaways and much more. The event will be set up in the rotunda during regular Mall of America hours.

The tour will also make a stop at two other "mega malls", including the American Dream mall in New Jersey from December 13th through the 15th, and it will make its final stop at the West Edmonton Mall in Canada from February 14th through the 16th.

The new Dragon Ball series will debut on October 11th, fans in America can watch them on the streaming platform Crunchyroll, but English dubbed versions of the shows won't be available until November when the first three episodes will be premiered during a theatrical event November 10th through the 12th.
