SKOL! ‘Star Wars’ Star Cheers On Minnesota Vikings, Does Skol Chant
The Skol Chant is strong with this one.
That was how the Minnesota Vikings and their mascot Viktor the Viking shared that one of the stars of the Star Wars movie franchise was in Minnesota and getting ready to cheer on the Vikings at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis as they took on the Lions over the weekend.
Rey gets Skol Chant lessons
While she has a pretty sizable list of acting credits, Daisy Ridley is best known for her role as Rey in the Star Wars movies The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker.
While in the Twin Cities, she decided to jump on the Vikings bandwagon as they looked to stay undefeated on Sunday against the Lions. In preparation for the game, Ridley even got lessons in the iconic Skol Chant from Minnesota's mascot Viktor the Viking.
Both Viktor and the team shared a video clip of Viktor and Daisy stretching before trying out the overhead clap that thunders through US Bank Stadium during games.
During the game, Daisy was shown on the big screen, sporting her Justin Jefferson jersey.
It's too bad she didn't get to watch a victory, but it was a close game with a lot of excitement that came right down to the end.
Why was Daisy Ridley in Minnesota?
You might wonder why Daisy was hanging out in Minnesota. Was she just coming to watch the Vikings?
Well, no. But she did make a great decision in coming to what was a close game between two great teams.

Daisy was in Minnesota for the Twin Cities Film Festival, where one of her films was showcased.
The film, called Magpie, was not only a film she acted in, but was also a movie she was a producer for. Ridley's film was screened at the film festival, and she also received the festival's Indie Vision Award.
