Brother Arrested As Minneapolis Homicide Investigation Continues
Police said the victim’s brother, also a man in his 20s, was taken into custody. Investigators said he had apparent non-life-threatening injuries believed to be connected to the altercation. He was taken to Hennepin Healthcare for evaluation before being booked into the Hennepin County Jail.
Investigators believe the stabbing happened after a domestic dispute escalated inside the residence. Homicide investigators are still working to determine exactly what happened.
“This is a heartbreaking outcome for a family,” Chief Brian O'Hara said. “When violence occurs between siblings, it leaves lasting trauma that extends far beyond those directly involved. Our thoughts are with the family as they face an unimaginable loss.”
