While school has started for kids in the Northland, it doesn't mean that learning has to stop once they're home.  Especially with a trip to the Duluth Children's Museum and their First Friday events.  It happens every first Friday of the month with different themes, this time they bring animals into the picture.

Tomorrow, Friday, September  7 from 4 to 8 p.m. the Duluth Children’s Museum will offer a free First Friday program entitled,  “Animal Adventures” .

Children are invited to bring in their favorite bug (in a closed container with air holes, please!) to see if they can stump the UMD entomologist.  They will also have the opportunity to build their own bird feeder or bug box.  Of course, the Lake Superior Zoo will have special guests on hand too!

The event will be held at the new, phase one location in Duluth’s Lincoln Park at 115 South 29th Avenue West.  As always, Museum First Friday events are free and open to the public.
