Halloween is just a few months away and with pretty much every major event being cancelled due to the pandemic, many are wondering what is in store for our favorite spooky events in the Northland.

I have been wondering - will the Haunted Ridge open this year? It is a Northland favorite and one of mine as well. I reached out to them to ask them if the attraction was still on for this year. Here's what they had to say:

We are still very hopeful for this years events but as time comes we will keep all of you updated via Facebook/websites.

This is good news! There you have it. As of right now, the haunted event is not cancelled. Hopefully they can figure out a way to make it happen with the proper health and safety guidelines. Monsters wear masks after all, right?! We will continue to monitor the story and keep you updated if anything changes.

Recently, it was announced that the Haunted Ship would not go on as planned this year - the third year in a row. The attraction has been cancelled the past few years due to ship displacement and construction in the area and sadly, this year it is scrapped due to COVID-19.

I refuse to lose hope that all Halloween-related events in the Northland will be cancelled so I am going to keep my fingers crossed! In the meantime, you can keep up with all things relating to the pandemic in the Twin Ports and beyond with our COVID-19 hub here.
