Indoor Exhibits Will Re-Open At Lake Superior Zoo Later This Week

Good news for fans of The Lake Superior Zoo as they prepare to re-open indoor exhibits at the Zoo. For the past 2 months the zoo has been open only to outdoor exhibits and thankfully the weather has cooperated, but all the animals still need to be fed and cared for so it really put the zoo in a tough spot.

Starting Friday January 15 the zoo will re-open starting at 10 am-3pm, and will only be open Friday through Sunday. The number of guest allowed in the zoo at one time will be limited to 100 people so all tickets must be purchased in advance. Get tickets here.

The state of Minnesota mandates that masks be worn by anyone over 6 years old while inside the facility. Masks will be available for sale for $1 at the zoo. A one way path is marked through the zoo and all visitors are asked to follow the path. The zoo staff ask that you please bring your own strollers and maintain social distancing with other guests.

Your visit will be open to see the Asian Caravan, African Lions, Australia and Oceania, Prairie Dog Row, Nocturnal Building, and Primate Conservation Center.  Plus new exhibits including the Brown Bears, Cougars and North American Grey Wolves. The Tiger Paw gift shop is open and Safari Cafe' has food to go only.
