I love this season of 'Fargo.'  It has a great cast, great plot, and it really holds your attention.   But from a guy living in the Northern Midwest, I have a couple of questions that I don't quite understand about the show right now.

What's with this bread?  The Gearhardts have all of this damn bread around the house.   There were racks of it by the door.  I get they are at a farmhouse, but if she's so busy stepping in and running the syndicate while her husband is ill, how does she have time to make all this bread.

Speaking of which, why is the middle brother always eating?  And did I miss something about his arm?  In episode 3 he has a cast on.  I don't remember seeing that before.

What's with the UFO?   It's been said that it refers to an actual sighting that year by a State Trooper, but why would they put that in this episode?  Was it  just a means to get Rye in the middle of the road to be hit by Peggy?

Which brings me to the next thing.  What's up with Peggy just driving away?  She really had no reason to drive off?  But then again, her character is a little dense.

What's up with digging a grave in winter?  Around these parts you can't dig a grave on account of all the frost, don't ya know?  And, I think they used hot asphalt on top of the grave.  I'm not sure, but that's what it looked like.   But you do know, you can't get hot asphalt until spring.

Do people around here really use the term "on account of" all that often?  That phrase in the Minnesota dialect stands out more than the others, because I don't remember that being said regularly or ever growing up.  It's like they've made it a "Minnesota" phrase, but it's really not.

I do think they've got the accents pretty close.  It's a bit heavy, but then again it's set in 1979, where that darn internet hadn't made it's way to water down the local vernacular.

Despite these odd things in the show, it's a great season and I'm really enjoying it, don't ya know.
