Ok, I completely understand the whole freeze/thaw theory and that it reeks havoc on our tarred roadways, but THIS is ridiculous!

The other night, my husband and I were Southbound on I-35 and took the 27th Avenue West exit.  I was talking as usual, he was listening, as usual and neither of us were paying attention to the fact that the ROAD WAS VIRTUALLY MISSING IN FRONT OF US!!!

Honestly, there was a chunk of roadway about 3 feet X 2 feet, missing!   NO warning cones, lights, orange and white sawhorsey deals, nothing!  BAM!!!  We hit so hard, I exclaimed.....well, never mind what I exclaimed, my point is....our car hit so hard that my eggs in the back of the car, IN THEIR CARTON, were broken.  That's ridiculous...who do I call?

I've learned my lesson...they say a "watched pot, never boils"...but a "watched pothole, saves a ton on wheel alignments!"  Safe driving!
