How You Sleep Could Be Better For Your Brain
It helps prevent Alzheimer's disease and other neurological conditions.
ifscience.com is reporting that the latest studies show that sleeping on your side could be healthier for your brain. I've always been told sleeping on your side stops you from snoring and clears your lungs when you are coughing.
New research by Stonybrook University shows that sleeping on your side, and not on your back or tummy, removes the brain waste that hangs around to develop Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and other neurological diseases.
According to more of their research, the brain is actually in clean-up mode, getting rid of the junk in our head. The research suggests that if these proteins and chemicals are not dealt with or they are left there, then they build up to cause neurological conditions.
