Here Is What Is Moving Into The Shopko Building In Duluth
The now-empty Shopko location in Duluth won't be empty for much longer: a Halloween superstore is taking over!
Spirit Halloween will be making the building home in August with an official opening date of Saturday, August 22nd.
The store is known for their spooky Halloween selection which includes costumes, decor, animatronics, props and just about everything else your scary-loving heart could ever dream of. Spirit Halloween locations start to pop up all over the country a few months before October, varying slightly based on the store. They are seasonal shops, which means they are only open for a few months each year.
We are lucky enough to get our own Spirit Halloween location in the Northland this year. I came across this amazing news when I was searching for other locations in Minnesota trying to plan a trip to one and was pleasantly surprised when a Duluth store popped up!
Their website confirms an opening date in late August. According to their website, the store will be open seven days a week. Exact hours were not given just yet.
The old Shopko building is found on 801 West Central Entrance in Duluth. Shopko announced they would be closing all of their stores by June of 2019 and the building has remained vacant since. See you on opening day!
By the way - I recently came up with a list of ten businesses I would most like to see in the Twin Ports. On the list? A Halloween superstore like Spirit Halloween! (You can check out the list below.)
