Here Are The Top Three Halloween Candies In Minnesota + Wisconsin

The best time of the year is here! I am talking about Halloween, of course. It is the absolute best holiday, in my opinion. After all, which other holiday can you go door to door asking for candy? Ha!

It turns out, when it comes to candy, we actually do favor one type more than some others. Online site candystore.com just released a list of each state's top three favorite candies. They found the results by looking at 12 years worth of bulk candy sales.

So which three candies do Minnesotans favor? Skittles first. Tootsie Pops came in second and candy corn ranked third.

Wisconsin loves Starbursts first and foremost, followed by Butterfingers. Hot Tamales came in third.

Minnesota and Wisconsin seem to be outsiders - only a few of our favorite candies align with the rest of the country, who loves Skittles, Reese's Cups and M&M's the most. Take a look at the map below to see which states prefer which candy. It's pretty fun!
