It's almost time for ghosts, goblins, Spider-Man, and zombies to invade the streets of the Northland. What do these little monsters want? Generally speaking, candy! It's always tough to gauge what kind of candy to buy and how much to get, but you hope that whatever you hand out, it makes the kiddos happy.

Just remember if you have your porch light on, that is the general go-ahead for kids to come to your door trick or treating. So if you don't have candy or are not going to be home please keep your light off so the kids know to skip your house. I conducted a very non-scientific survey asking friends and co-workers what their kids usually get after trick or treating and here it is:
