Introduce your child to a whole new world!  The only time I've heard of learning about rockets was in school, or if you were a boy scout.  Not anymore, thanks to the Duluth Children's Museum!  Boys and Girls can now have a BLAST at the Young Scientists' Rocketry Workshop.

The Duluth Children’s Museum invites you and your kids to go up, up and away with the Young Scientists’ Rocketry workshop tomorrow,  Saturday, October 20 from 8a-6p at the Duluth Children’s Museum.

Budding scientists and engineers, ages 8 -12, will learn about the science of rocketry. They will even get to build and launch their own rockets from the Duluth Children’s Museum parking lot at 4p that day. The Duluth Children’s Museum is located in the Clyde Park Complex at 115 South 29th Avenue West, in Duluth’s Lincoln Park.

Space for the workshop is limited and will go fast.  Cost is $30 per child. Anyone interested in having their child participate can call the Museum at 218-733-7543 to reserve a spot.
