Hardy Headed To Minnesota On 2023 Tour
It's been a very big year for Hardy and it looks like 2023 is going to be even bigger: he just announced a major headlining tour that will take him across the country with his name in lights!
Professionally, it has been a massive year for the country star. In September, he was named the Songwriter of the Year at the ACM Honors. The annual award show honors the top artists and songwriters from that year in country music so it is a pretty big honor.
While he is an artist in his own right, he is just as successful as a songwriter, having written big hits for Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line and more. He also just released a critically-acclaimed song with Lainey Wilson.
He was also recently involved in a major tour bus accident. Earlier this month, he and three others were treated for "significant injuries" after the bus crashed in the middle of the night. He had to scrap his tour dates for the time being while he heals but thankfully, everyone is okay.
Despite the accident, Hardy is pushing on ahead with a big headlining tour taking place next year. The news comes just a few days after he announced a new album, called The Mockingbird & the Crow.
He will now embark on a tour of the same name, kicking off in February and continuing through the end of April. This tour will include a stop in Minneapolis at the Fillmore. The venue is located at 525 North 5th Street.
Jameson Rodgers will be the opening act, along with Blame My Youth. The Minnesota date will take place on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Tickets to the general public go on sale Friday, October 14th at 10 a.m. our time.
The show is all ages and doors open at 6:45 p.m. The show starts one hour later with the two openers, followed by Hardy closing out the show. It is amazing to be able to get back to live music again and if you are a big fan of Hardy, you'll want to catch him on this tour in smaller venues before he starts headlining arenas!
Hardy is one of many country stars hitting the road soon. Maren Morris is currently on tour and will be in Minnesota later this month. Carrie Underwood will also be bringing her Denim & Rhinestones Tour to the Target Center in late October.
Next year, Luke Combs, Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce and more major stars will be in Minnesota. It is going to be a busy year!
