Major Country Music Festival Cancelled For 2025
Sad news for country fans in the Northland: a major summer festival will not happen this year. However, there is some good news.
Grand Country Nights is an epic weekend-long country music festival with some of the biggest names in the genre.
Past headliners include Gary Allan, Justin Moore and Lee Brice, just to name a few. The festival took place at Grand Casino Hinckley, just a short drive from Duluth.
Unfortunately, this year it will not happen. The sad news was shared with loyal fans of the festival on Friday afternoon (February 21st).

The Announcement
The big announcement began with organizers of the festival thanking loyal fans for the support over the years. According to their announcement, they were unable to reach an agreement with the venue for this year and the future.

Don't be too sad just yet though because the festival will be back! The announcement continued with this happy news, writing:
However, we are actively working to secure a new facility that will allow us to elevate the experience and make the event bigger and better than ever before! Get ready for a refreshed and revitalized event in 2026, featuring a NEW NAME and NEW LOCATION!
After a summer off, it looks like it will be back with a new name and a 'bigger and better' experience than ever before, giving us all something to really look forward to next year!
Looking Ahead
Ken and I have been working the festival for the past few years and it doesn't feel like work at all! It is always a blast with amazing headliners and great times from start to finish.
