Glensheen Gala Fundraiser To Feature Pig Roast And Live Music

Our radio group is a sponsor for the annual Glensheen Gala and I was fortunate enough to be able to attend last year.  What an event!  You get dressed up, enjoy some good food and cocktails, and get to see parts of the estate that aren't on the normal Glensheen tour.

This year's event is on Saturday, August 10th, and they have even more than last year packed into the evening.  This year it carries the title of "Gowns of Glensheen Gala: Unlocked".  So in addition to the rest of the party the rarely seen gowns, party dresses, wedding dresses, fur coats, and more, will be on display.

For food, there will be a big spread, from fire roasted veggies, meats, desserts, and even a pig roast cooked on Lake Superior beach rock.

This event is one of Glensheen's biggest fundraisers of the year ensuring they can continue offering other year round events, many of which are free, and most are very educational.

Tickets are $100 to attend this evening of classy fun, food, and cocktails.  $60 of the ticket price is tax-deductible as a donation too.  There are still a few tickets left for the evening which starts at 7:00PM and ends at 10:00PM and you can purchase them here.
