Free Special Edition Twins Hats Available At 6 Minnesota DNR Days At Target Field
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has once again partnered with the Minnesota Twins to create special days at Target Field where fans have the ability to get a free, special edition Twins hat.
According to the DNR, anyone with a 2023 Minnesota fishing or hunting license can receive this free special edition orange Minnesota Twins logo cap and a ticket discount if they attend any one of the six Minnesota DNR Days games at Target Field.
The Minnesota DNR Days partnership includes the following games:
- Saturday, April 29 vs. Kansas City Royals, 1:10 p.m.
- Friday, May 26 vs. Toronto Blue Jays, 7:10 p.m.
- Tuesday, June 13 vs. Milwaukee Brewers, 6:40 p.m.
- Sunday, July 23 vs. Chicago White Sox, 1:10 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 19 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates, 6:10 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 9 vs. New York Mets, 1:10 p.m.
Anyone with a 2023 Minnesota fishing or hunting license is eligible to take advantage of this offer. License holders must first purchase their discounted game ticket online to receive a special Twins cap at the game. Ticket prices vary by game.
It's important to note that in order to get this special edition hat, license holders must purchase their tickets on the DNR’s special Twins page, which can be accessed above. You will then be able to select which special game you'd like to attend.
After making a ticket purchase, an e-mail will be sent which provides the location of hat pick-up, which will take place prior to the game. The person who purchased the tickets must show their hunting or fishing license, or a photo of it, at the game when they pick up the hats.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources encourages people to get their tickets right away as this has proven to be a high-demand promotion and hat quantities are limited.
Remember, you can buy fishing and hunting licenses at any DNR license agent, online with a mobile or desktop device, or by phone at 888-665-4236. Mobile license buyers receive a text or email that serves as proof of a valid fish or game license to state conservation officers.
