Ford has announced a recall of over 550,000 vehicles because of bad seats. The vehicles recalled are Ford Trucks and SUVS that don't have proper support for their seat backs. This could lead to an injury during a crash. Certain 2018-2020 models are on the list, including some F-150s, Explorers, Super Duty trucks, and Expeditions.

The seats lack a third prawl for seat strength. In the event of an accident, it could lead to injuries due to the lack of support. Ford doesn't know of any crashes or injuries related to this yet. According to NBC News, owners will be notified beginning October 7th. The recall will have owner bring their vehicles to a dealership and then have the seats tested. Most seats are expected to pass, but if not they will replace the faulty seats.
