The State Patrol responded to the deadly crash shortly before 2:00 Friday afternoon. First responders found the motorcycle resting on an onramp to Interstate 94.

20-Year-Old Woodbury Motorcyclist Killed in Crash at I-94 Interchange Near University of Minnesota

The deadly motorcycle crash occurred at the I-94 and Huron Blvd. interchange in Minneapolis. The motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed as the young driver was attempting to enter eastbound I-94 Huron Blvd. 

He crashed into the barrier on the ramp, which caused him to be thrown from the motorcycle onto the right shoulder of eastbound I-94, the state crash report says. 

20-year-old Easton Macoy Kleven of Woodbury was identified as the motorcycle operator.

He was taken to a hospital in Minneapolis where he died from his injuries, according to the State Patrol. 

Kleven was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the deadly crash, the state crash report says.
