Beyond The Barn is the real deal if you want authentic Western wear. Their website perfectly describes who they are: "We are a family-owned, full-service tack shop and western boutique store that carries a full line of boots, apparel, and products for you and your horse."

Years ago, my wife gave me a bucket list trip to an all-inclusive dude ranch in Wyoming. The trip included horseback riding through the mountains and a lot more. I had two good friends join me. Before we left, we went to Beyond The Barn to gear up, and they were extremely friendly and helpful. They also had exactly what we needed for our 'City Slickers' adventure.

Having been treated so well by the staff there, I can't imagine anyone taking advantage of them, but that's exactly what happened at the end of the year when a person stole clothing.

Beyond The Barn Reaches Out For The Public's Help

According to a Facebook post on December 30, someone went into the store, located inside the Miller Hill Mall in Duluth,  the previous afternoon and waited for the opportunity to steal merchandise.

They shared a video of the suspect while sharing what happened, saying the man in the video "waited for people to be distracted, stole jeans, and left quickly. Mall security and the police were notified and all evidence was submitted.

You can watch the security video below and see if you recognize the thief.

On a positive note, Beyond The Barn owners noted that they are thankful that compared to other stores, their theft issues are on the low end. However, when they do occur they can hit local, family-owned businesses harder.

They also wanted to thank customers for being the best that they could hope for and they look forward to continued support in 2025.
