Today is officially National Do Something Nice Day! After a rough week, I think it would be a good idea for everyone to try and spread the love. It doesn't have to be a grand or expensive gesture. Just one small act of kindness can go a long way.

Here are a few easy ideas to help you take part.

Buy Someone A Cup Of Coffee

I have had this happen to me quite a bit. It is a small gesture but it always makes my day. You can pay for the person behind you in the drive-thru or give the cashier a few dollars to put into the next person's order. You could also bring coffee into the office!

    Leave A Big Tip

Make a waitress or barista feel loved and tip a bit more than you normally would. This could be a dollar or two. They will leave their shift feeling loved and appreciated.

    Let Someone Cut The Line

We all have a bad day from time to time. This usually includes being in a rush or running low on time. If you have a few extra minutes to spare, let someone cut you in line. This could be a bright spot in their otherwise hectic day.

    Compliment Someone

Tell someone you like their shirt or an idea they had. Tell them you like their laugh or how they changed their hair. It can be anything at all.

    Thank A Community Member

Thanking someone for their service is more important now than ever. Let a police officer or veteran know you appreciate their sacrifice, especially with all that has been going on in the world.
