Fall is officially here and Halloween fun is about to ramp up across the Northland. One such event has become a tradition for many families and this year, there will be several opportunities to get in on the fun.

Duluth's Lake Superior Zoo is getting ready to host not one, not two, but three Boo At The Zoo weekends. It's a great way for Northland families to get together to visit seemingly endless trick-or-treating stations while also enjoying all the animals and fun that the Lake Superior Zoo has to offer.

There will also be Halloween-themed animal treats, food trucks, games, and activities. New this year is the BOO-tique, where visitors every Saturday can shop from local crafters. It's a great way to treat yourself or even get a head start on holiday gifts.

Boo At The Zoo will take place on Saturday, October 14, Saturday, October 21, and Saturday, October 28 this year. The event will run each weekend from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

It's important to note that 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. is reserved exclusively for Lake Superior Zoo members, then the general public will be admitted.

While you can get tickets at the door each weekend, you'll save money and time by getting them online in advance.

Advance Boo At The Zoo ticket prices are $10 for members and $12 for non-members. On the days of the event, tickets are $12 for zoo members and $16 for non-members. Children 2 and under will be admitted free of charge.

The Lake Superior Zoo adds that they are committed to making Boo At The Zoo accessible for everyone in our community. Therefore, they are donating up to 10% of last year’s ticket sales to area organizations that serve under-resourced youth and families. You can click here to request tickets for your organization.
