Duluth Water Main Repair Will Affect Traffic And Residents On Grand Avenue For Three Days

The City of Duluth is warning motorists that a portion of Grand Avenue will be narrowed to two lanes for a water main repair to begin this Thursday, June 21 and last for three days.  My question is:  how will it affect the citizens that live in the area?  That's my stompin' ground and this girl NEEDS to shower!!!  I don't mind using  the "honey, we HAVE to dine out tonight, I won't be able to wash dishes!" line, but we are so spoiled now, that an inconvenience sets everyone in the household on edge.

The repairs will affect Grand Avenue between 47th Ave West and 45th Ave West.  If you can avoid that area and find an alternate route, that would be your best bet as they are anticipating traffic congestion.

Motorists traveling east on Grand Ave will not be able to make a left turn at 46 Ave West.
