Duluth Police Hosting ‘Kids, Cops + Cars’ Event at Bayfront Festival Park
The Duluth Police Department is hosting a fun, family-friendly event this summer at Bayfront Festival Park. The 'Kids, Cops, & Cars' event is a kid favorite that promises a lot of fun activities for all.
'Kids, Cops & Cars' is set for Thursday, August 19, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Join the Duluth Police Department at Bayfront Festival Park where multiple law enforcement and first responder vehicles will be on display ready to explore, play, and climb in!
There will be kids against cops Tug of War games and K9 demonstrations. We will also have frisbees and other activities available for kids to play with during the event.
The event is free and is open to the public and you can't beat the setting. Bayfront Festival Park, located at 350 Harbor Drive in Duluth, is one of the best places to be during the summertime for any reason.
Anyone with smaller kids knows how much they love to see these types of vehicles at any time. Being able to climb on them, as well as meet the men and women who work in the the professions that utilize them, is a truly memorable experience. Make sure you have a camera handy!
Events such as this are also a great way to develop positive relationships within the community between law enforcement and residents of the Northland. Something tells me the 'kids against cops Tug of War' will find Duluth Police taking it a bit easy, so my money is on the kids on that one.
