Get a jump-start on what you need to know about this winters' snow - at least when it comes to Duluth.  Mayor Emily Larson is inviting everyone to an informational meeting about the city's plans in regards to the upcoming winter season.

Billed as a "City Hall in the City on Snow Operations" meeting, the event will happen Tuesday, October 11 starting at 1:00 PM.  The meeting will happen virtually and live-streamed on the City of Duluth's Facebook page.

The purpose of the session is to provide residents what they need to know about the upcoming 2022-2023 winter season.  One of the key highlights of the meeting will be information on what to do when a snow emergency is declared.

While the City Hall In The City on Snow Operations meeting is themed around snow removal and the upcoming winter season, it's part of a series of meetings that the city has scheduled for the past few years.  The City Hall In The City series takes government offices and officials "out on the road" into different neighborhoods in the metro.  It offers "a unique opportunity for Duluth residents to have conversations with the mayor and connect with city decision makers in one place on topics and emerging issues that are important to residents".

If you have questions for this upcoming session on October 11 or any of the meetings in the future, you can submit them in advance.  Just email them to info@duluthmn.gov with the subject line reading "City Hall In The City".

Similar to other sessions, this one is scheduled to last about one hour.
