Duluth Gets A Shout Out In New Episode Of ‘Roseanne’
Cult classic 'Roseanne' is back for a revival and we couldn't be more excited about it. Why? Because it seems they've been thinking about us here in Duluth.
The city got a special mention in this week's new episode. It is titled "Darlene v David" and it first aired Tuesday night.
The famous line? One of the lead characters says, "Dad just got that radio working. He's got a friend in Duluth that's 120."
The episode centers upon the return of an old character named David. Played by Johnny Galecki, David shows up out of the blue for a birthday party after disappearing without notice for quite some time. Therefore, Darlene has to take another look at their relationship. (Loyal viewers will know exactly what I am talking about.)
If you don't watch the show, just know that the shout out was comical, meant to be used as a comparison between an old ham radio and the relationship in question.
The show returned in March after being off the air since 1997. It returned to massive ratings and record-breaking numbers.
