Duluth Named The Drunkest City In Minnesota
This isn't great but it's also not our first rodeo. A northern Minnesota city was just named the drunkest city in the state of Minnesota.
Sigh. A brand new study was released on Wednesday (November 13th) by VinePair. They know a thing or two about alcohol, as their site is all about beer, wine and spirits.
They just revealed the drunkest city in every state and this one is going to hit a little too close to home - especially if you live in Duluth. Ope!

And the drunkest city in Minnesota is...
Duluth! This list was put together using the 2023 County Health Rankings & Roadmaps, which shows which percentage of men and women over the age of 18 are heavy drinkers or binge drinkers.
In this case, each city with the highest rate of those heavy drinkers and binge drinkers in their state was named the drunkest. According to this study, about 24.2 percent of Duluthians drink excessively.
Earlier this year, a different study said that St. Cloud was the drunkest city in Minnesota. However, this study used slightly different factors when coming up with their list!

Even though it didn't hit number one in that particular study, Duluth did make the nationwide list and was named one of the top twenty drunkest cities in the country. Cheers?
