Solar power has been around for many years now, and while it has many benefits, we still don't see much of it in the Twin Ports.  I should say, that it isn't seen too often on homes.  There have been several businesses around the region, including places like Minnesota Power who have added them to harness the sun's power.

One of the things that might be holding many back is the lack of education about solar energy.  Most of us have the one friend who thinks they are an expert but don't have any solar panels of their own.  You can also use Uncle Google all you want and might still not have a full picture of what it will cost you upfront.  There are resources offering a wealth of knowledge all in one place.  The Duluth and Arrowhead Solar Co-op is one such resource.

They will be hosting a free info session on Tuesday, January 12th, at 6:30PM.  This online event is free to attend and it will have a live aspect, so you can even ask questions.  Topics discussed will include the technology and how it works, economics, financing, and even the benefits of joining the co-op.  There won't be any obligation to join, and since it's all online, you don't even need to leave your home.

You can get more information on this event and register for it HERE.  Clean and renewable energy might just be a good fit for you.
