Duluth Activating the Emergency Warming Center

Due to the extreme cold, Duluth is opening its Emergency Warming Center.

The center will be open both Saturday, January 18th and Sunday, January 19th from 10 PM - 6:30 AM.

The Emergency Warming Center is located at City Center West, 5830 Grand Ave.

The opening of the warming center is determined on a daily basis, keep an eye on the CHUM Facebook page for daily updates.

Temperatures will be below zero during the overnight hours and in the single digits during the day with wind chills approaching -30 all weekend. Stay safe out there!
