Dot's Homestyle Pretzels seem to become all the rage in a very short amount of time and now they've created a new way to enjoy the addictive snack.

Behold, the Mr. Dot Bar.  Minneapolis Star-Tribune also shared a link on their Facebook page about the new invention, which is now available in most places where Dot's Homestyle Pretzels are sold.

According to the Star-Tribune article, the candy bars are a great sweet and salty combination:

The buttery pretzels are crushed into fine crumbs, and in the milk and dark chocolate bars, added to shards of toffee that make for a crisp bite akin to a Crunch bar. The dried onion flavor comes through the most when paired with the milk chocolate.

I discovered Dot's Homestyle Pretzels early last summer from a spontaneous buy while checking out at a gas station in Sandstone.  I was hooked right away and then it seemed they were everywhere.  I admit, I became somewhat of a Dot's ambassador.

For example, my sister-in-law was visiting from Texas and I had her try them.  She too was hooked and bought out the store so that she could have them back at home as they weren't available there.  There are more stories like this and I'm sure I'm not alone.

I will definitely seek out the Mr. Dot Bars and give them a try, especially the dark chocolate variety.
