Dole Baby Spinach Bags Recalled In Wisconsin, Other States
Dole is recalling some of their baby spinach products due to the possibility of Salmonella.
According to the FDA, the recall is voluntary and only impacts a limited number of cases.
The following products are the ones being recalled:
- 6 oz Dole Baby Spinach bag with a lot code of W20308A and a UPC code 0-71430-00964-2
- 10 oz Dole Baby Spinach clamshell with a lot code of W203010 and a UPC code of 0-71430-00016-8
Both of these products have use-by dates of August 5th of this year. The product is expired but the company is still taking precautions.
The products mentioned were distributed in several different states, including Wisconsin.
No one has reported an illness due to the baby spinach. You are still asked to throw away the items if you have them. You can call the Dole Consumer Center any time of day with any questions or concerns at 1-800-356-3111.
No other Dole items are impacted by the recall.
Just a week ago, Entenmann's recalled their Little Bites Cookies due to a choking hazard within the packaging.
