In case you didn't know, Daniel Durant is a Duluthian who has had a major break in Hollywood over the past few years! He even had a starring role in the Oscar-winning film CODA, along with a bunch of roles in television shows over the years. He even competed on Dancing With The Stars!
This just might be his biggest gig yet, as the actor has been announced as one of the performers for the Super Bowl pregame festivities this year. He will perform the National Anthem in ASL on one of the biggest stages in the world!
In terms of a stage to perform on, it just doesn't get bigger than the Super Bowl! Even those that don't like sports tune in to the event. Millions of people watch the game, along with the pregame festivities and all other activities surrounding the big game.

I was excited to see Daniel in a recent episode of one of my favorite shows recently! He had a guest starring role on Chicago Med, and it was one of the best episodes in awhile. The episode came out last year. I can't wait to see what he does next.
