Another concert tour has been postponed due to COVID-19. Dan + Shay have chosen to postpone their 2020 tour until a later date.

Dan Smyers of the duo shared the news across their social media pages Thursday (June 25th). The announcement came in the form of a somber video, clocking in at about two and a half minutes long.

In the video, the country star announces that they will be shifting their tour from 2020 to 2021 and are currently working on securing new dates for the shows. We will keep you updated when new dates for the show are announced.

If you have tickets to the show, you are asked to hang on to them for now until a new date is announced. If you can attend, your ticket will be honored. If you can't attend the new date, you will have thirty days from when the new date is announced to request a refund.

In the video, Dan also acknowledges that the only reason they waited so long to postpone the tour is because they were holding out hope things would change and they'd be able to perform. You can watch the video in full below.

There is no word on whether Ingrid Andress and / or The Band Camino will still open the tour next year.

The award-winning duo announced their arena tour in October of 2019. In mid-March, they were forced to postpone the Minnesota tour stop to August of this year. Now, it looks like fans will have to wait even longer.
