What would like to see downtown Duluth look like in 5 years? The city wants to know what your vision is for the community and will be holding a meeting soon.

Community Visioning Open House

The Community Visioning Open House will take place Monday, October 21st, 2024 at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Join them from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the DECC Symphony Hall in the Mezzanine Level. The program starts at 5:30 PM.

This is part of Imagine Downtown. It's the vision for a welcoming, vibrant, and prosperous district where everyone feels at home.

Imagine Duluth By 2030

Imagine Duluth has a goal that by 2030 the Downtown will be filled with opportunities, community connections, and housing for students, young people, and families of all shapes.

The main goals for Imagine Duluth are working towards include:

• Improve safety through addressing homelessness, mental health challenges, and substance abuse, while they continue to enhance public safety.
• Connecting key districts together, like walkways and designed spaces that unify downtown and make it accessible from places like Canal Park to the Historic Arts and Theatre District.
• Establish a unique brand that captures Duluth's character.
• Invigorate public spaces with year-round events.
• Identify redevelopment opportunities.
