South Superior is looking a little more colorful after some artwork has been created on Shannon's Stained Glassery.  It's a mural project that's been started as part of a grant from the Wisonsin Arts Board and it's one of three projects to take place in the city.

Alison Price from Phantom Galliers is a UWS graduate who has been the lead artist on the mural.  You may have seen her work before on a mural that's on the 1300 block of Banks avenue (behind the old Elbow Room.)

Work has begun on the project and volunteers can come out and help paint.  Painting will resume again on Thursday and Friday of this week from 12-6pm.  Depending on the amount of work done, it may extend into the weekend.

That isn't it for the mural projects, however.  The next artwork will go up on the Keyport building.  So keep an eye out for that.
